Do you believe in fairytales? I do. The idea that someone in distress, like Cinderella, transforms herself with the help of Fairy Godmother into a charming and beautiful lady for a night is comforting. Shrek’s Princess Fiona, who despite being trapped in a desolate tower doesn’t lose her spirit and sassiness deserves admiration. Belle from The Beauty and The Beast who doesn’t think twice before offering herself in exchange for her father’s freedom is a brave girl. Being able to break out of mental and emotional shackles is one of the most striking features of these women. However, as awe-inspiring as they might be, they’re fictional characters. Reality is spared from dreamy interventions and one often needs help and support from people who empathise with others’ feelings. When I signed up for #CauseAChatter, a brilliant Blogchatter project, I intended to share and learn from fellow bloggers how we could make such a difference, together.
I started writing for #CauseAChatter two years ago and this is my 25th post! What began as a wonderful way to share my thoughts and experiences regarding Health and Wellness soon led to humbling acceptance from our blogger community. The heartening feedback on my posts inspired me to delve deeper, research better, and think harder on important topics that needed to be written about. Interestingly, #CauseAChatter was an unexpected gift I got during the pandemic and kept me sane throughout. Blogchatter deserves a round of applause for this. Thank you, team!
What is #CauseAChatter?
It is a Blogchatter project that encourages bloggers to write on social causes that they feel closely about. It works on the belief that “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” One post, one blog, or one voice may create a ripple but to bring about a tsunami of change we need continued efforts as a community, don’t we?
#CauseAChatter has raised awareness around crucial topics like gender, climate, mental health, and other social issues in the past. Social platforms and creative tools have helped amplify the voices of bloggers and given them a better reach and a wider audience. This project aids us to make a big difference by contributing in our own small way.
What do bloggers gain from #CauseAChatter?
Many of us write on topics like parenting, lifestyle, women’s issues, education, etc on our blogs. However, with our limited reach, our work may not reach the people who’re looking for similar information. Also, like I said before, without a community and a good platform we’re like a frog in a well. Blogchatter helps us overcome these constraints and gives us immense growth prospects.
- Trending topics – Sure, we can Google current trending topics but there’s the risk of repetition and reader interest. Blogchatter does this research for us and encourages us to choose the topics that are closest to our blog’s niche. This saves us time which we can invest in other blog-related work.
- Self social awareness – Not everyone writes on social issues but that doesn’t mean that they can’t. Personally, I thank #CauseAChatter for the effort I put into writing about sustainability, climate change, and gender equality which I always wanted to but didn’t. It makes us feel responsible to be credible as well.
- Readership – Blogchatter insists that we submit our posts on Blogrolls, which is a repository of all posts from all bloggers. You can filter the category and find the posts of your interest. This also helps in finding other #CauseAChatter posts and knowing what other bloggers are writing about.
- Stickers and Reward Points! – #CauseAChatter isn’t only about others, it promises perks for its contributors too. For every completed, successful quarter bloggers get beautiful stickers and encashable reward points in their Reward Points Wallet. I have 5! Isn’t it cool?
After a successful 2021, this year’s Blogchatter #CauseAChatter theme is Inclusivity: When nobody is left out. Simply put, it means to cohabit and exist in unity. Women empowerment, gardening, disability, discrimination, etc are some of the topics that you can choose from. Excited? You can register here.

I have never participated in #causeachatter. But I have read posts from this campaigns. And they were very well written. Causeachatter is a good projects for bloggers to explore new topics and let their writing blossom.
We also believe that one voice may get lost but many speaking on the issue get noticed by the readers and it creates an impact too. We have written about Education and Environment in our CauseAChatter posts and must tell you that each post had so much research that increased our horizon too.

I love the theme of this year’s Blogchatter #CauseAChatter, which is ‘Inclusivity: When nobody is left out.’ I would have loved to participate this time, but my schedule is messed up. I will, however, read the stories of other bloggers and learn from their experiences.
#CauseAChatter by Blogchatter is one of the best campaigns where in we can write for the causes one believes in on a regular basis. We not only get to create awareness with this project but also learn so much from others.
You have rightly said, these projects give us a breath of fresh air from the busy schedule to open our heart on causes that matters. I participated in the CAC last year, however, this year around I am still contemplating with the idea. It is a long commitment though.
I have always been vocal of few topics that I feel the most for. Though I haven’t participated in Cause a chatter but it surely looks as a great platform for pushing the bloggers to write for themes that they really feel for. The reward pointing system is motivating.
I would love to be a part of #causeachatter. This helps in writing purposefully. Absolutely amazing.
What you guys have done with the cause chatter is beyond amazing. And this the topics and format is also noteworthy. I will try and participate in it this year.
