Opposites ~ Daily Post Prompt

In this week’s prompt we were expected to show opposites in a single image.

I couldn’t help capturing this picture of an almost dried dead tree with a luscious green carpet in the background. For me this stark difference means the possibility of life and growth in future even if the present suggests otherwise. The haziness can be attributed to rain.
