What we choose not to do
And what we’re capable of,
When put together, determine
What our life’s made of.
Cowering under pressure
Or standing tall when in pain,
Is like the huts that shelter
Or get swept away in rain.
Nothing ever comes to us easy
When we leave our comfort zone,
Like the gold that shines when heated
Let’s do it, to come into our own!

Great poem of courage and valour, Varsha and congratulations for the challenge.
Thank you so much, Kamal. Courage is all one needs, isn’t it?
Yes absolutely true Varsha. Welcome dear.
Absolutely perfect! I thought you nailed it wonderfully!
Thanks a ton. Means a lot to me. š
You are welcome indeed.
Well said. Everything that we want is one step outside our comfort zone. So, we need to be bold and courageous and take that step!
Comfort zone can make us feel safe but can never take us anywhere. One step, like you said, is important. Thanks, Shilpa. š
Like gold thats heated to get a shine to come into its own- Wow Varsha! This is gold – such a powerful line and is the life of this poem! Loved it
Thanks so much, Shalz. We complain of hardships but hardly realise that they teach us more in life.
You nailed it!Short and so profound. Loved it!

Thank you for your kind words, Neha.
Such a lovely poem Varsha! It is a must that we be put to test to know our value!
Right. Unless we stretch ourselves to our limits we cannot know what we can do!
Beautiful lines yet again, Courage is always hard to strive but the results it bring is always worth a try.
Very inspiring words, Varsha. Loved reading it!
Great poetry Varsh and I liked the comparison done in last para.
One suggestion, do leave a space between paras for better readability.
Cheers
