The Hope #writebravely

orphan-1139038__340

The amusement in this mundane exercise was laced with underlying hope.

Suddenly loving caretakers, good food, decent clothes and clean surroundings were comprehensible indications of what was to happen.

With their rarely filled tummies and fast-pacing hearts, the children stood in a line with bated breaths.

The couple wanting to adopt had arrived. God bless!

  1. Such a heart touching write up. I can only imagine the scene… Can feel the hope they have in their hearts.. God Bless Them All…

    1. There is no end to it, Akhila. Is there? Some child’s day might be today. Someone else’s tomorrow. Still others might not be as lucky. Hope keeps them alive.

  2. I also agree that adoption is a great step. Those who adopt are really the Genuine human being. Want to salute them. Every kid deserves a home and family. Very nice and inspiring write up.

    1. Thanks Minakshi. I agree, adoption is not an easy decision and when someone goes for it happily, they deserve being lauded for it. Glad you liked it.

    1. Thank you so much, Jayanthy. These kids are no less than our kids and yet being put in such a situation is very unfair. Wonder what goes through their minds.

  3. Twinkle in the eyes on empty stomach… oh such a warm tale… oozing with emotions! Was difficult to hold back that lone tear about to drop from my eye!
    Absolutely brilliant take Varsha!

    1. I’m so happy I could make you feel that emotion, also it is saddening to see the innocent hopeful kids in that situation. You’re so kind, Anagha. Thank you so very much!

    1. Thank you, Neha. We feel so entitled and forget that somewhere there are children struggling to even get two square meals. It is truly disturbing.
